Masjid-e-Noor-Al-Karim
In the wake of the devastating floods that ravaged Muzaffargarh in Punjab, Pakistan, two years ago, leaving many mosques and homes in ruins, the Women's Welfare Centre is spearheading a beacon of hope and renewal: Masjid-e-Noor-al-Karim. This mosque represents not only a place of worship but a symbol of resilience and community empowerment. With a capacity to accommodate 600-700 people, it will serve as a sanctuary for women and men alike, offering solace and spiritual nourishment to all who enter

Beyond its role as a place of worship, Masjid-e-Noor-al-Karim will also serve as a center for education and empowerment, particularly for young orphan girls aged 6-14, widows and women who wish to learn the Qur'an. Under the guidance of the Aalimah, the women will receive a thorough teaching of the Holy Qur'an, fostering a deep connection to their faith and providing them with the tools they need to navigate life's challenges with strength and integrity. By nurturing both their spiritual and intellectual growth, the mosque aims to empower these young women and encourage them to seek spiritual knowledge and enlightenment, embodying values of compassion, wisdom, and Islamic service in the community.

Moreover, the Masjid-e-Noor-al-Karim will also provide education in Islamic studies for young orphan boys. With guidance from an Imam, the boys will be taught the true meaning of the Qur'an, giving them vital education in an important spiritual aspect of their lives, respecting their female peers as equal in the communities and encouraging more integration and cohabitation amongst the community. Furthermore, the Masjid seeks to equip the young men with the Islamic knowledge to become independent role models for many generations of children to come.
