Annual Charity Projects

Throughout the year, the Women's Welfare Centre in Bahawalpur orchestrates a series of annual charity projects that embody the spirit of compassion and community service. Ramadan Project

The Ramadan project stands as a beacon of hope during the holy month, as the centre distributes over 200 food parcels to families in the vicinity. These parcels contain essential items to sustain families throughout Ramadan, ensuring that no one in the community goes hungry during this sacred time of fasting and reflection.

Eid Project

As Eid approaches, the centre launches its Eid project, spreading joy and goodwill by gifting Eid hampers filled with clothes and accessories to families in need. Additionally, traditional handis filled with food are distributed, allowing families to celebrate the festive occasion with dignity and abundance.

Winter Project

As winter sets in, the centre shifts its focus to its annual winter project, providing warmth and comfort to families facing the harsh realities of the season. Blankets, wooly hats, jumpers, gloves, and scarves are distributed to children within the community, offering protection against the biting cold and alleviating the burden on struggling families.

Summer Project

During the scorching summer months, the centre extends a helping hand through its summer project, addressing the unique challenges posed by the sweltering heat. Water coolers, mosquito nets, and other essential items are distributed to help families cope with the oppressive temperatures, ensuring their well-being and comfort during the hottest season of the year.

Barsi Project

The culmination of the annual charity projects is the Barsi project, a celebration of remembrance and generosity. During this event, the centre feeds over 500 people and distributes goodie bags filled with sweets and treats for children. It is a time of community gathering and solidarity, as individuals come together to honor the memory of loved ones and extend kindness to those in need.
